BORP: Join the 11th Annual Revolution

Event Date:  September 28, 2013

Now in its eleventh year, The BORP Revolution Ride & Festival, scheduled for September 28, 2013, is all-day cycling event and festival that brings together hundreds of people of all abilities to raise funds for BORP's adaptive sports and recreation programs for people with physical disabilities and visual impairments. With routes ranging from 5k to 65 miles, casual riders and serious cyclists join people with physical disabilities and visual impairments on a fully-supported ride in the stunning landscapes and spectacular vineyards of Sonoma County. Routes range from the casual 5k 'Roll & Stroll' through the Trentadue vineyards to a grueling 65 mile ride with significant changes in elevation. The 'Rev' has something for everyone and redefines what 'ability' is all about.

Virtual Rider:

Even if you can't make it to the Rev yourself you can help support all of BORP's programs by being a Virtual Rider. With this option, you register as a rider, fundraise to assist our participants, and ‘ride in absentee’. In this way, you are able to fully support the Revolution and our programs, even if you cannot ride in person. Select 'Virtual Rider' from the 'What route will you ride?' drop down menu.

The Festival:

Following the ride, riders, supporter, vounteers and friends celebrate the day’s success at a Food & Music Festival at Geyserville’s Trentadue Winery. The Festival is a way to join in the celebration of the day's success and another way to help support people with physical disabilities. All festival attendees (who are not participating in a ride, the Roll & Stroll, or volunteering must register in advance. Festival registration is only $100 and space is limited!
